The early new born days really are something special, they are an experience like no other, a whirlwind of emotions, snuggles and learning about our new baby. Some days’ time seems to stand still and other days it flies by, but these moments are fleeting. As a mother myself I am so passionate about capturing and preserving these beautiful memories for you, they tell your family’s story and are really something to cherish.
My new born sessions take place in the comfort of your own home where you have everything you need, the tea cup your love, the baby wipes to hand or a change of clothes for whoever needs it. You don’t need to tidy up, I don’t care about mess and I’m not there to judge. I know that these early days are pure chaos and I’m just here to capture beautiful memories for you and your family in your own familiar space.
These sessions are not only perfect for capturing your new baby, but also the bond they have with you or their siblings and day to day life as a family. Whether its feeding them, cuddling them or simply being in awe of them.
Most families choose to have new born sessions in the first two weeks of welcoming their baby into the world, however we can photograph these sessions later than that. Just consider that if you want those curled up sleepy shots then the earlier we have the session the more likely we are to get these images.
